Hero eMaestro Engine: Hero says the eMaestro gets a powerful permanent magnet motor and state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery pack. Other than this information the bikemaker has not revealed any specifications. Given that Hero MotoCorp owns a sizeable stake in Bangalore based electric start-up Ather Energy, we believe the eMaestro could use the Ather 450 X’s permanent magnet synchronous (PMS) electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack.
